Frederick S. Barber

Frederick S. "Dusty" Barber Jr. Was born October 25, 1953 in Elmira, NY, the son of the late Frederick S. and Pauline (Lockwood) Barber Sr., passed away peacefully at his home surrounded by his beloved family at the age of 62. He is survived by his loving wife of 35 years, Bonnie (Dupree) Barber; children, Ian (Adam DuBois) Barber of Corning, NY, Melissa Del-Mage of San Antonio, TX; sister, Judy (Wells) Stanzak of Lakeland, FL; niece, Jody (Randy) Patterson of Tampa, FL. He loved animals, especially his canine companions, "Lady" and "Shiloh". For 20 + years Fred worked for Brady Supply and for the last 7 years was an IT Manager for Amphenol Interconnect Products. "Dusty", as he was affectionately known by all, loved music, especially his guitars and his bands which included Triphammer, Flashback and Second Chance. He wrote, composed and produced his own music and had a state of the art studio in the basement of his home. His love of music was everything to him. In honoring Fred's wishes there will be no calling hours or funeral services. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be directed to the Lupus Foundation, 6800 Park Ten Blvd. Suite # 127, N.
