Gaetana A. Doty

Was born July 20, 1922 in Elmira, the daughter of the late Samuel and Frances (DeLauro) Rossi went home to be with her Lord on Wednesday, September 30, 2015 at the age of 93. Her loving and devoted husband of 60 years, David C. Doty preceded her in death. Her brothers: Dom, Dan (Pauline) and Len; sister: Nettie (Dick) Berg; sister-in-laws: Peg (Allen) Packard and Eleanor Putney; brother-in-law: Dick (Joyce) Doty also predeceased her. She is survived by her beloved daughters: Diane (Mike) Hess and Nancy (Jim) Elston; grandchildren: Sandy (Jack) Rapalee, Mike (Lisa) Hess, Lori (Mike) Holton, Mark (Meg) Elston and Rick (Marisa) Elston; great grandchildren: Stacey, Billy, Michael, Nicholas, Julie, Devin, Collin, Andrew, Erika and Hannah; great great grandchildren: Makenzie and Mason; brother: George (Judy) Rossi; sister-in-laws: Sandy Rossi and Yolanda Rossi; sister-in-law: Marge (Vinnie) Magaw; along with several nieces, nephews and cousins. Family and friends are invited to gather at the Olthof Funeral Home, Inc. 1050 Pennsylvania Ave. Elmira/Southport, NY on Friday, October 2, 2015 from 5:00 to 7:00 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Saturday, October 3rd at 10:00 AM in St. Patrick's Blessed Sacrament Church 604 Park Place Elmira, NY. The Reverend Rick Farrell will celebrate the Mass. Interment will follow in St. Peter & Paul's Cemetery.
