Gary L. Sherman

Was born January 19, 1948 in Waverly NY son of Lewis E. and Pearl M. (Zimmer) Sherman passed away peacefully on Tuesday, July 3, 2012 at his homewith his family at his side. His father, Lewis, son, James Sherman and brother-in-law, Steve Salyga preceded him in death. He is survived by his loving and devoted wife, Stefka; children, Tonya Millard (fiancée, J.R. Fleming), Robert Sherman and Carrie Ann Sherman; special grandson, Eric; mother, Pearl; sisters, Shirley (Leo) Minier, Josephine Seymour and Sharon (Brad) Appleton; brother-in-law, Wasyl Salyga; special friends, Debbie and Ann; along with several nieces and nephews. Gary retired from LRC Electronics in Horseheads after several years of dedicated service. There will be no prior services. Gary will be laid to rest in the Barton Cemetery at the convenience of his family. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Olthof Funeral Home, Inc..
