Gary L SmithAge 67 of Town of Caton, NY passed away at his home surrounded by his family.He is survived by his loving wife and friend of 44 years; Carla Smith; daughter, Michelle (Len) Philip, Carlton (Rebecca) Smith; grandchildren that he adored; Anthony and Jacob Philip, Nickolas and Brittany Philip; nieces and nephew, Susan, Nancy, and Billy; plus several other immediate family members, and his favorite pet, “Lady”.Gary was a retired Corrections Officer from Southport Correctional Facility, Elmira, NY.He was an avid hunter, and loved the outdoors, and was a fan of the New York Giants football team.It was Gary’s request that there be no calling hours and a Private Memorial Service will be held at the convenience of the family.
