Worden, Gary A. age 64 of Stormstown, PA, formerly of Wellsboro and Williamsport, passed away unexpectedly at home Saturday, October 24th, 2015. Gary was born in Elmira, NY on June 23rd, 1951; the son of the late Wesley William and Anna (Coleman) Worden. He is survived by his loving wife of 23 years: Patti (Webster) Worden of Stormstown; daughters: Jill (David) Benjamin of Elmira, NY, Anne (Simon) Adams of England, Gina Barrett of Centre Hall, PA, and Darcy Worden of State College, PA; 3 grandchildren: Lucianne L. Olthof, Carlyle Lynch-Benjamin, Oliver and Molly Adams; his siblings: Carol Worden, Claire (Jay) Larrison, Joette (Andy) Foster, William (Patricia) Worden, and Scott (Mary) Worden; along with several nieces and nephews.Gary was a graduate of Southside High School class of 1970, he was an Air Force Veteran and worked many years in Wellsboro for Soldiers and Sailors Memorial Hospital. Before his retirement in 2013, he was the assistant manager for Lowes in State College, PA. Gary liked to make the people he loved laugh. He adored his family and friends. His cats played a big part in his life, along with fishing, rock hunting, genealogy, astronomy, cooking and entertaining. Family and friends are invited to gather at the Olthof Funeral Home, Inc. 1050 Pennsylvania Avenue, Elmira, NY on Friday October 30th, 2015 from 4:00PM to 7:00PM. Funeral and committal services will be held directly following the conclusion of the calling hours at 7:00PM. In lieu of flowers, please make memorials in Gary A.
