George B. Lowman

Age 78 passed away peacefully at the VA Medical Center in Bath, NY on Sunday, February 13, 2005, where he has most recently resided. He was born September 7, 1926 in Elmira, NY, the son of the late A. Marshall and Camilla (Bryon) Lowman. His brother, Marshall ?Rip? Lowman, also predeceased George. He is survived by his loving sister and brother-in-law, Camilla L. and William Arnold of Pultney, VT; nieces, Camilla Arnold and Caryl L. Parker; nephews, William Arnold, Marshall Arnold, Ron Lowman, Peter Lowman, and Steve Lowman. George was a Veteran of the US Army, proudly serving his country from 1950 to 1952. He retired from Elmira Floral Products after several years of faithful and dedicated service as a rose grower. At his request, there will be no calling hours. Interment will take place at the convenience of his family in Riverside Cemetery in Lowman in the spring of 2005. A ?Candle of Remembrance? may be left for the family in obituaries at www.olthof.com
