George "Pudge" L. Miller

Miller, George L. “Pudge” Age 65, of Sayre, PA, passed away peacefully surrounded by loved ones at the Robert Packer Hospital on Thursday, March 16th, 2017. Pudge was born in Sayre, PA to the late David and Mattie (Higley) Miller. He is survived by his loving wife of 42 years, Enna “Diane” Miller; son and daughter-in-law, Alexander L. and Stacey L. (Telech) Miller; granddaughter, Abigail E. Miller and grandson, Alexander J. Miller; his siblings, Dave(Jennifer)Miller of Texas, Mary Morgan of New Jersey, Dan Miller of Florida, Charles Miller of Florida, Ann (Linus) Robinson of Pennsylvania, Tammy (Kevin) Brown of Pennsylvania, Brian Miller of Pennsylvania; along with many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and close friends. Pudge proudly served in the US Navy and in Vietnam from 1970-1974. He was also an employee of the Lehigh Valley Railroad and ConRail post military service. A Graveside Service will be held at Woodlawn National Cemetery, Elmira, NY on Friday, March 24th at 3:00 pm. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Pudge's honor to the Veteran's Military Honor Guard, c/o Jimmy Robinson, 1200 Davis Street, Elmira, NY 14901 or to a charity of one's choice.
