Georgianna Mathews

Was born August 24, 1914 in Elmira, NY the daughter of the late August Charles and Mary Ellen (Stevens) Reich went home to be with her Lord peacefully on Christmas day at the age of 99. She also joined her loving husband of 28 years, Walter Mathews who passed away March 11, 1986; brothers, Otto and August Reich Jr.; sisters, Amellia Mary Little and Helen Mathews; brother-in-law, Raymond Little. She is survived byher special nephew and caretaker, Elmer Mathews of Elmira, NY; along with several nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. For many years, Georgianna worked side by side with her beloved Walter, working in their own trash hauling business. She was a faithful member of the Southside Baptist Church. Family and friends are invited to gather at the Olthof Funeral Home, Inc. 1050 Pennsylvania Ave. Elmira/Southport, NY on Sunday, December 29, 2013 from 2:00to 4:00 PM. Funeral services celebrating her life will follow the visitation at 4 PM. She will be laid to rest at the convenience of her family with her beloved Walter in Forest Lawn Memorial Park.
