Geroge H. Bailey

George H. Bailey age 73, of Elmira, NY passed away on Tuesday, April 5, 2016. George was predeceased by his parents, Russell and Eva (Eastwood) Bailey; siblings, Lucy Kent, Henry Bailey, Mary Rummings and James Bailey. George is survived by his loving wife of 51 years, Shirley Bailey; children, Jeff (Tammy) Bailey; Tracy (Robert) Plouse; grandchildren, Brittany, Corey, Ashley; great-granddaughter, Bailey; siblings, Kenneth Bailey and Florence Kennedy. George was a loving husband, father and grandfather. George loved spending time with his family and grandchildren. He was an avid hunter and outdoorsman. He loved to ride his four-wheeler on the mountain. He retired from Kennedy Valve after 39 years of dedicated work. He was a former member of the Eagles and Moose Lodges and a current member of the Elks Lodge. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Heart Association, 7272 Greenville Avenue, Dallas, TX 75231 or American Kidney Fund, 11921 Rockville Pike, Suite 300, Rockville, MD 20852. Family and friends are invited to call at the Olthof Funeral Home, Inc. 1050 Pennsylvania Avenue on Sunday, April 10, 2016 from 4:00PM to 6:00 PM with a funeral service to follow at 6:00PM.
