Gladys M. Green

Was born July 12, 1915 in Williamsport, PA the daughter of William and Clara Morrison, went home to be with her Lord on Monday, August 28, 2006 peacefully at the Arnot Ogden Medical Center at the age of 91. She is survived by her loving husband, Louis J. Lou Green of Elmira, NY; daughter and son-in-law, Dianne C. and Robert Vandenburgh; grandchildren, Stacie (Gerry) Anderson; great great grandchildren, Alexis, Arrianna and Annika; grandson, Erick Vandenburgh all of Florida; son and daughter-in-law, Gerald and Dianna Green of Cornelius, NC; granddaughter, Jessica Hargrave and her children, Courtney and Dakota all of Washington; along with several nieces and nephews. Gladys was an accomplished pianist and organist playing in many of the local churches. She also gave lessons to many students. Her fondest memory was playing the organ at the Clemens Center. At the request of the family there will be no prior calling hours. Private interment will take place at the convenience of the family in the Ashland Cemetery, Wellsburg, NY. A Memorial Service honoring Gladys will be held at a later date and time to be announced. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Olthof Funeral Home, Inc. 1050 Pennsylvania Ave. Elmira, NY.
