Age 67 of Pine City, NY passed away Sunday, November 7, 2010 at the Arnot Ogden Medical Center. Glenn is the son of the late Glenn and Lena Lyman Davis Sr. He was born here in Elmira, the 5thofDecember in 1942. Glenn graduated from Mansfield University with a BS in Education and an MS from Elmira College.He taught in the Elmira City School District in Edgeworth and Riverside Schools. Glenn loved hunting, and the outdoors, gardening, raising Christmas trees and cooking for all. He always made sure those in need were fed. He was a member of Westminster Presbyterian Church, and served as a Deacon and Elder. Glenn is survived by his wife of 36 years,Kathryn( Manchak) Davis ofPine City; son; Richard J. Davis of Elmira, daughter; Kasia (Tony) Bulkley of Olathe, KS; son; Jeffery (Tara) Davis of Nanuet, NY; three Grandsons;Nikolas, Alek, and Nathan; three Brothers: Richard L. (Rosemary) of Webster, NY, Ralph (Priscilla) of Tallahassee, FL, Russell Davis of Elmira; sister: Laura (David) Little of Watertown, NY andseveral nieces and nephews. Family and friends are invited to call at the OlthofFuneral Home, Inc. 1050 Pennsylvania Avenue, Elmira, NY Wednesday, November 10th, 2010 from 5:00PM to 8:00PM. Funeral and committal services will be at the conclusion of the calling hours at 8:00PM. The Reverend Jane Winters will officiate. Graveside services will be held in the Fitzsimmons Cemetery of Southport, NY and will remain private. In lieu of flowers those wishing may make memorials to the Food Bank of the Southern Tier or the Westminster Presbyterian Church.
