Grace J. Buzako

Wife of the late Joseph Buzako of Pine City, NY, died very peacefully on June 9, 2013 in the presence of herfamily at St. Joseph's Hospital -she was 92. Grace was born in Saugerties, NY, May 11, 1921 to the late Richard and Mary (Longendyke) Hunt. Along with her husband and parents and seven siblings, she is predeceased by two children, Kathryn and Michael and a grandson, Richard. She is survived by her children; Joseph (Margaret) of Pine City, NY, Richard (Barbara) of Parker, CO, John (Judy) of Pine City, NY, Marion Losey of Rochester, NY, A brother, Wallace (Gretchen) Hunt of Pine City, NY, along with 12 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren, and a number of nieces and nephews. Grace and her husband owned and operated "Joe's Grocery" on the Sagetown Road for over 20 years. After her husband died, she lived in New Mexico and in Colorado for a number of years. Her favorite summer retreat was "Kenshire Kampsites" along Pine Creek in Gaines, PA. She is a charter member of the Webbs Mills Volunteer Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary .Family and Friends are invited to call at St. Mary's Church, 224 Franklin St. Elmira, NY on Thursday June 13, 2013 from 1:00 to 3:00 PM and 6:00 to 8:00 PM with Funeral Mass of Christian Burial there Friday at 1:00 PM, followed by graveside prayers at St Peter & Paul's Cemetery, Elmira, NY.
