Grace E. Campbell

Age 84, life long resident of the Elmira area including 30 years in Pine City, NY, passed away peacefully Monday, August 16, 2004 at the Chemung County Nursing Facility where she has resided and received extraordinary care since 1999. She was born Thanksgiving Day, November 27, 1919 in Elmira, NY the daughter of the late John and Anna May (Paulman) Wright. She is survived by her sister, Virginia Wright with whom she lived; loving sons, Lauren J. ?Larry? (Cathy) Campbell of Elmira, NY; Russell J. ?Russ? (Cynthia) Campbell of Big Bear, CA; Richard G. ?Rick? (Pam) Campbell of Vista, CA; beloved grandchildren, Andrew E. (Holly) Campbell of Horseheads, NY; Michael J. ?Mike? (Jeanne) Campbell of Big Bear, CA; Theodore J. ?Teddy? Campbell of Vista, CA; great granddaughter, Joy Elizabeth Campbell of Big Bear, CA; special friend, Virginia ?Ginny? Campbell of Pine City, NY; along with several cousins and many close friends. For several years, Grace was the gift shop manager at the Chemung County Historical Society where she faithfully worked for several years. She was an active member of the Pine City Baptist Church and active in many of its committees. Family and friends are invited to call at the Olthof Funeral Home, Inc. on Thursday, August 19, 2004 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 PM. Funeral Services will be held there at the conclusion of calling hours (8:00 PM) Her pastor and friend the Reverend Horrace Stoddard will officiate. Interment will take place privately at the convenience of the family in the Woodlawn Cemetery Elmira, NY. The family will provide flowers.
