He is survived by his wife, Eleanor Gerow Croft Phillips; daughters, Linda (Howard) Rice of Cornelius, OR; Joyce (Barry) Good of Halifax, PA; son, David (Peggy) Phillips of San Marcos, TX, 8 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren, sister, Doris Romig of Penn Yan, NY, also survived by step-children, Maxine Monsour of Aurora, CO, Nancy De Furio of Naples, FL, Winn and Kathie Croft of Clintonville, WI,11 step grandchildren, and 7 great grandchildren. His first wife, Mary Emerson Phillips, 3 brothers and 2 sisters, predeceased Harold.He was a graduate of Alfred University, a 50-year plus member of the Southside Baptist Church, a member of the Kiwanis Club of Elmira, NY and Local #267, Plumbers & Pipe Fitters Union. Harold was a Plumber, employed by Van Patten Plumbing & Heating of Elmira, NY.Family and friends are invited to call at Olthof Funeral Home, Inc. 1050 Pennsylvania Ave. on Friday June 17, 2005 from 5:00 to 7:00 PM with Funeral and Committal Service there Friday evening at 7:00 PM, The Reverend David Daniels will officiate, interment will be in Forest Lawn Memorial Park at the convenience of the family.
