He is survived by his wife, Eleanor Gerow Croft Phillips; daughters, Linda (Howard) Rice of Cornelius, OR; Joyce (Barry) Good of Halifax, PA; son, David (Peggy) Phillips of San Marcos, TX, 8 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren, sister, Doris Romig of Penn Yan, NY, also survived by step-children, Maxine Monsour of Aurora, CO, Nancy De Furio of Naples, FL, Winn and Kathie Croft of Clintonville, WI,11 step grandchildren, and 7 great grandchildren. His first wife, Mary Emerson Phillips, 3 brothers and 2 sisters, predeceased Harold.He was a graduate of Alfred University, a 50-year plus member of the Southside Baptist Church, a member of the Kiwanis Club of Elmira, NY and Local #267, Plumbers & Pipe Fitters Union. Harold was a Plumber, employed by Van Patten Plumbing & Heating of Elmira, NY.Family and friends are invited to call at Olthof Funeral Home, Inc. 1050 Pennsylvania Ave. on Friday June 17, 2005 from 5:00 to 7:00 PM with Funeral and Committal Service there Friday evening at 7:00 PM, The Reverend David Daniels will officiate, interment will be in Forest Lawn Memorial Park at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers those wishing may make memorials to Hospice of Naples, 1095 Whippoorwill Lane, Naples, FL, 34105-3847, envelopes are available at the funeral home.Those wishing may leave a ?Candle of Remembrance? for the family in Obituaries at www.olthof.com .
