Harry D. Stearn, Sr. “Red”Age 85 of Gillett, PA, passed away on Saturday, May 17, 2014 unexpectedly. He was predeceased by his oldest son, Harry “Butch” Stearns Jr., 3 brothers and 1 sister. He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Ruby Ray (South) Stearns; daughters, Deb, Pat and Jen; sons, John and Lee Stearns; 12 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren; sisters, Mary and Teresa. Harry was a United States Army Veteran of the Korean War.Family and friends are invited to call at Olthof Funeral Home, Inc., 1050 Pennsylvania Avenue, Elmira, NY on Wednesday, May 21, 2014 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM with Funeral and Committal Service there Wednesday at 7:00 PM, Pastor Ozzie Paul Osgood will officiate.
