Darrow, Hazel P. ?Bum? Loving wife, mother and grandmother Age 66, of Gillett, PA. Passed away unexpectedly early Saturday morning, October 13, 2001 at Memorial Hospital in Towanda, PA. Surviving are: Her children, Joyce Walker of Elmira, NY; Charles (Billie) Bixby of Elmira, NY; Raymond (Bonnie) Bixby of Gillett, PA. Husband, Robert Darrow of Gillett. PA 10 Grandchildren and 2 Great-grandchildren. Brothers, Ernie Smith of Nelson, PA; Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence Smith of Beaver Dams, NY; Mr. and Mrs. Robert Smith of Florida. Sisters, Bernice Thompson of Montour Falls, NY and Mary Ann Perry of Danbury, CT. Numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a brother, Clarence ?Dutch? Smith and a sister, Genevieve Gitchel. Hazel was a member of the Gillett Baptist Church, Gillett, PA Family and friends are invited to call at Olthof Funeral Home, Inc. 1050 Pennsylvania Ave. on Tuesday October 16 2001 from 1:00 to 3:00 and 6:00 to 8:00 PM with Funeral and Committal Service there at the conclusion of calling hours Tuesday at 8:00 PM, The Rev. Donald Rockwell will officiate. Interment will be in Maple Grove Cemetery, Horseheads NY at the convenience of the family.
