Helen A. CosgroveWas born September 20, 1926 in Elmira, the daughter of the late Harry and Florence (Wheeler) Paulman, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Tuesday, March 10, 2015 at the Corning Hospital with her family ather bedside. Her sisters Louise VanHouten and Dorothy Brace also preceded her in death. She survived by her loving husband, Bernard L. Cosgrove with whom she has spent 64 wonderful years of life and love with; her son and daughter-in-law, David and Elese Cosgrove; daughter, Debra Cosgrove; siblings: Marge Hetherington, George Paulman and Anna Mae Cosgrove; along with 5 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews. Helen retired from the Howell Box Company after many years of dedicated service. She will be remembered for being a friend to all she met, for having a big heart and for her warm and friendly spirit. Above all else she will be remembered for being a women of prayer and for her love to her Lord. Family and friends are invited to gather at the Olthof Funeral Home, Inc. 1050 Pennsylvania Ave. Elmira/Southport, NY on Saturday, March 14, 2015 from 1:00 to 3:00 PM. A Celebration of Helen's life will follow the visitation at 3 PM. Reverend Brian Kain will officiate. Interment will take place privately at the convenience of her family in Woodlawn Cemetery.
