Age 92, of McHenry Street Elmira, NY passed away on Monday, August 30, 2004 peacefully at St. Joseph?s Hospital Elmira, NY. She was born April 9, 1912 in Germania, PA the daughter of the late Charles and Helen (Traub) Zepp. She was predeceased by her loving husband, George M. Lumbard in 1969; daughter, Betty DeVore in 1991; great granddaughter, Jaimie Cooper in 1988. She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Lois and Glenn Cooper of Elmira, NY; son and daughter-in-law, Richard Lumbard and Linda Getola of Elmira, NY; grandchildren, Sheryl Schrock of Elmira, NY; James W. Cooper of Elmira, NY; Scott (Amy) Lumbard of Horseheads, NY; Todd (Barbe) Lumbard of Pickerington, OH; Kim DeVore of Elmira, NY; Paige Sandore of Elmira, NY; Danna DeVore of Holly Hills, NC; along with 13 great grandchildren, and 1 great great grandchild, several nieces and nephews. Above all else, Helen had a deep love and care for her family. She was a member of the First United Church of Christ in Elmira, NY. Family and friends are invited to call at the Olthof Funeral home, Inc. 1050 Pennsylvania Ave. Elmira, NY on Friday, September 3, 2004 from 6 to 8 PM. Funeral Services will be held there at the conclusion of calling hours. (8:00 PM) The Reverend Rolf Eschke will officiate. Interment will take place privately at the convenience of the family in Woodlawn Cemetery. In lieu of flowers Memorial Donations may be directed to the First United Church of Christ 160 Madison Ave. Elmira, NY 14901 in her memory.
