Henderson W. Sherman

Age 86, passed away on Thursday, June 30, 2005 at Waters of Aurora Park, East Aurora, NY.He is survived by his wife, Alberta Woodward Sherman of Penn Yan, NY; daughter, Marlene Dersham-Fields; many grandchildren,great grandchildren, nieces and nephews; brother, Walter Sherman of Minneapolis, MN.He was predeceased by his daughter, Maxine Dersham.Henderson served in the Marine Corp during WWII and retired from the US Post Office.He loved fishing.Family and friends are invited to call on Saturday, July 2, 2005 at Olthof Funeral Home, Inc. 1050 Pennsylvania Ave., Elmira, NY from 12:00 Noon until 2:00 PM.Funeral and committal services will be held there at 2:00 PM.Interment will be in Forest Lawn Memorial Park at the convenience of the family.Memorial donations may be made to American Cancer Society, Southern Tier Chapter, 1316 College Ave., Elmira, NY 14901.
