Ida M. KopetchnyAge 95 of Elmira, NY. passed away peacefully Tuesday December 11, 2012 at St Joseph’s Hospital surrounded by her loving family.. Ida was predeceased by her husband William C. Kopetchny Sr. daughter, Linda Karl, her sister Anna and brother Harry.She is survived by her daughter, Yolanda Kopetchny; son William Kopetchny, 9 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. She was a member of St. Mary’s Church, Retired from Trayer products after many years of service. Ida enjoyed playing piano and singing She treasured time spent with family and embraced life with humor and grace.Family and friends are invited to call at Olthof Funeral Home, Inc. 1050 Pennsylvania Ave. Elmira/Southport onThursday December 13, 2012from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM with a celebration of Ida’s life there Friday at time to be announced, followed by graveside prayers at Woodlawn National Cemetery.The family is most grateful for the loving care given to their mother at her home by Pathways Inc. They went above and beyond the call of duty and their presence was a support to the family beyond measure.Also thanks to the nurses and staff at 3 D of St Joseph’s Hospital for the compassionate care and family support during her stay.
