Irene E. Lawton

Formerly of Falmouth, MA and presently of Elmira, NY passed away Sunday September 7, 2003 at home.She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law; Barbara and Joseph DeSanto of Elmira, NY; grandsons, Robert (Margaret) DeSanto, Thomas (Maria) DeSanto, and Christopher (Rhoda) DeSanto; great grandchildren, Lea, Nolan and Mikael. Her husband, Clifford G. Lawton, predeceased Irene in 1987. She was a member of the Southside Baptist Church, The Mission Bells of Southside Baptist Church and the Chemung County Widow & Widowers Organization. Family and Friends are invited to call at Olthof Funeral Home, Inc. 1050 Pennsylvania Ave. Elmira on Wednesday September 10, 2003 from 5:00 to 7:30 PM with Funeral and Committal Service there Wednesday evening at 7:30 PM The Rev. Jack Myers will officiate. Interment will be at the convenience of the family in The Church of the Messiah Cemetery, Woods Hole, MA. Those wishing to may make memorials to the Southern Tier Association For The Visually Impaired, 719 lake St., Elmira, NY 14901, in Irene?s name.
