Isabelle Rose Pierce

Formerly of Lormore Street, Elmira, was born March 24, 1926 in Owego, NY the daughter of the late Guy E. and Georgianna (Devine) Thompson, went home to be with her Lord on December 31, 2013 at Plant City, Florida at the age of 87. She was preceded in death by her loving husband, FrederickE. Pierce who was employed at NYSEG for 30 + years. She is survived by her beloved daughters, Sandra (Cusak) Friesen of Clovis, CA; Sharon L. Rumsey of Plant City, FL; adored grandchildren, Desiree, Zachary, Jonathan, Austin, Brandon Cusak; Bunnie (Timothy) Short, Brian (Colleen) Rumsey; brothers, Kenneth Thompson of Elmira Heights, NY; Ronald Thompson of Mansfield, PA; along with several great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Isabelle retired from Remington Rand after 24 years of dedicated service and later worked for Mega Tool and Die for over 8 years. Family and friends are invited to call at the Olthof Funeral Home, Inc. 1050 Pennsylvania Ave. Elmira/Southport, NY on Friday, January 10 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM. Funeral services honoring her life will follow the visitation at 1 PM. Interment will follow in the Woodlawn National Cemetery where she will be laid to rest with her beloved Frederick.
