Age 72 of Elmira, NY Passed away on Saturday October 17, 2009 at St. Joseph's Hospital. He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Joan Mitchell, son Bob (Karen) Mitchell, daughter, JoLynn Mitchell, grandchildren, Alicia (Tim) Diello and Brandon Mitchell, great grandchildren, Josie and Tyler, sister Mary Ruth Davis, best friend "Spot" also several nieces and nephews. Mitch was a United States Marine Corp Veteran and member of the Marine Corp League. He retired from the Bendix Corporation.The family will receive friends at Olthof Funeral Home, Inc. 1050 Pennsylvania Ave. Elmira/SouthportOn Wednesday October 21, 2009 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM with Funeral and Committal Service there Wednesday at 5:00 PM, Reverend Anne Mowery will officiate. Interment will be held at the convenience of the family. Those wishing may make memorials to the Arnot Ogden Foundation, for the Dialysis Unit, 600 Roe Ave. Elmira, NY
