Jack H. Dahlhaus Former owner of Del ElectricAge 87 of Fairfield Glade, TN formerly of Elmira, NY passed away very unexpectedly in Fairfield Glade. Jack was the son of the late Charles and Anna Meyer Dahlhaus.He was born in Elmira, NY May 11, 1921. He is survived by his loving wife of 65 years Beverley M. Dahlhaus of TN. Together they enjoyed a wonderful life together with a son Charles (Phyllis) Dahlhaus of Breesport, NY; and daughter Kay (Paul) Moyer of Crossville, TN; 4 grandchildren: Robert (Cori) Moyer of Getzville, NY, Jack Moyer of Eureka Springs, AR, Michelle (John) Adams of Petosky, MI, and Brent (Tracy) Dahlhaus of Medina, NY; and also 9 great grandchildren. Jack is predeceased by his brother Roy Dahlhaus. Family and friends will gather at the Olthof Funeral Home, Inc. 1050 Pennsylvania Avenue, Elmira/Southport, NY Thursday, December 11th, 2008 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM. Funeral and Committal services will follow at the conclusion of the calling hours at 2:00 PM. The Rev. Irene Nowak will officiate assisted by Rev. Karen Davenport. Interment will be at the convenience of the family in the Hilltop Cemetery, Breesport, NY.Jack was a proud veteran of World War II. A member of the Fairfield Glade Community Church, in TN and a former member of the Centenary United Methodist Church and the Starkey Methodist Church. Jack owned and operated Del Electric for many years. He enjoyed his cottage that was built with the help of his father-in-law on Seneca Lake. Jack will always be remembered for being a devoted family man, whom loved his work, and found great pleasure in the outdoors and his garden. Memorial donations maybe made to the Alzheimer's Foundation or the American Heart Association in Jack H. Dahlhaus' name.
