James A. Minchin

Age 59, of Elmira, NY passed away on Wednesday, October 20, 2004 at home.He is survived by his wife of 38 years, Mary Beth Minchin; mother, Mary Ellen Minchin; sisters, Tina (Joseph) Munn, and Barbara Goldsmith; brother, Brian (Patty) Minchin; mother-in-law, Claire Schultz; devoted companion, ?Ginger? Minchin, several nieces and nephews; devoted friends, Yolanda Lopez, Richard O?Connor and Raymond Coover. He was predeceased by his father, Captain Albert Minchin. James was a retired Captain from the Elmira Police Department. Family and friends are invited to call at Olthof Funeral Home, Inc., 1050 Pennsylvania Ave. Elmira, on Sunday, October 24, 2004 from 1:00 to 3:00 and 6:00 to 8:00 PM with Mass of Christian Burial on Monday at 10:00 AM in St. Mary?s Church, Southside, Reverend Rick Farrell celebrant; followed by graveside prayers at Forest Lawn Memorial Park.
