Age 51, of Schuyler Ave. Elmira, NY passed away on Monday, October 18, 2005 very unexpectedly. He is survived by his loving wife of 20 years, Debi (Youmans) Warfe; son and daughter-in-law, Jason and Theodora Warfe of Pittsburgh, PA; daughters, Nealy Warfe of Cortland, NY; Kiersten Warfe at home; father and step-mother, Doug and Elsie Warfe of Wallace, NY; mother-in-law and father-in-law, Donna and Stan Youmans of Horseheads, NY; sister, Morgan (David) Lindsey of Texas; brother, S. Donald Warfe of Buffalo, NY; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Randy and Lori Youmans of Elmira, NY; cousin, Rana Kay Bennett of Elmira, NY; niece, Sydney Youmans of Elmira, NY; nephews, Ryan Youmans and Ryess Youmans (Godson) both of Elmira, NY; Chad Shindle and Cade Lindsey both of Texas; Tad Kelsey of New York; step-brothers and step-sisters, Walt, Gary, Linda and Diane; special friends, Bob and Patti Gressel of Pine City, NY and Mike Marinan of Elmira, NY; along with several aunts, uncles, cousins and many friends. His mother Opal L. Silvers predeceased him, June 18, 2005. Jim was presently employed as supervisor of informational systems at Corning Inc. Corning, NY. He was a Veteran of the United States Air Force and proudly served his country. He was a member of the American Legion Bentley Trumble Post in Horseheads, NY. Jim was an avid comic collector, a movie connoisseur and enjoyed his work as a ?D J? in his spare time. Family and friends are invited to call at the Olthof Funeral Home, Inc. 1050 Pennsylvania Ave., Elmira, NY on Saturday, October 22, 2005 from 2 to 5 PM. Funeral Services will follow the visitation at 5:00 PM. Lay Pastor John P. Knapp will celebrate the services honoring Jim?s life. Interment will take place on Monday, October 24, 2005 at 12:00 (noon) in Forest Lawn Memorial Park, Elmira where the Chemung County Veterans Honor Squad will accord Mr. Warfe full Military Honors.
