Jane A. Libby

Age 89, of Fairway Ave. Elmira, NY went home to be with her Lord on Saturday, May 1, 2004. She was born September 23, 1914 in Elmira, the daughter of the late John A. and Sarah (Barker) Webb. Jane was preceded in death by her loving husband, Oliver Libby in 1995 and her beloved brother-in-law, Mark Roland in 1997. She is survived by her dearly loved daughter, Sheila McDonald of Suring, WI; adored granddaughters, Sara Jane McDonald and Andrea Lynn McDonald; devoted and caring sister, Winnie Roland of Elmira, NY; cousins, Lucile Steiner and Jacquelyn (Floyd A.) Williams all of Elmira, NY; along with several nieces, nephews and close friends. Jane was a formerly employed by the Remington Rand. Upon graduating from high school she attended beauty school and became a licensed beautician. Above all, she enjoyed being a homemaker. Family and friends are invited to call at the Olthof Funeral Home, Inc. 1050 Pennsylvania Ave. Elmira, NY on Wednesday, May 5, 2004 form 2 to 4 PM. Funeral Services celebrating her life will be held there at the conclusion of the visitation. (4:00 PM) Pastor Roger Curtis will officiate. Interment will take place at the convenience of the family in Woodlawn Cemetery.
