Janice E. Henrich

Of Elmira, NY.Was born June 25, 1951 the daughter of the late H. Mettler and Grace L. (Larcom) Henrich passed away peacefully on Monday, February 23, 2015 at the Robert Packer Hospital. Her sister, Donna Henrich also preceded her in death. She is survived by her sister and brother-in-law, Sharon and William Ravert of Elmira, NY; brother and sister-in-law, Harry and Bonnie Henrich of Lexington, NC; nephews, W. John (Cecilia) Ravert of Harrisburg, PA; Brett (Helene) Ravert of Pine City, NY; nieces, Angela Hilton of Jupiter, FL; Shari Snowden of Rush, NY; great nieces, Aliyah Rabino and Sarah Ravert; great nephew, Nicholas Ravert; along with many cousins and friends. Janice worked for the NYS Department of Corrections and was a dedicated secretary for many years at the Elmira Reformatory. She was also employed at the Chemung County Humane Society and SPCA and was dedicated to the animals and the care they received. She was also very instrumental in the Southern Tier Canine Club which was a dog obedience school. Janice will always be remembered for her outgoing spirit. At her request there will be no services. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be directed to the Chemung County Humane Society and SPCA 2435 Route # 352 Elmira, NY 14903.
