Janis Arvilla Russler

Age 74, of Scott Lane, Petersburg, PA, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, February 22, 2005 with her beloved family at her side at the Bon Secours Holy Family Regional Hospital in Altoona, PA. She was born December 16, 1930 in Elmira, NY, the daughter of the late Norman and Leora (White) Everett. Her first husband, Donald E. Vinsek, predeceased her in 1987.She is survived by her loving husband, Donald Russler of State College, PA; beloved children, Norman E. Vinsek of Millerton, PA; Cheryl L. (Stephen) Tedesco of West Franklin, PA; Phillip D. Vinsek of East Troy, PA; Janeen Vinsek of Troy, PA; grandchildren, Robert (Helen) Ackley, Brad Vinsek, Travis Vinsek, and Steven Seymour; step-children, Sherry (Richard) Albright of Lock Haven, PA; Beaver (Allan) Pruey, Donald Russler, and Thomas (Melissa) Russler all of State College, PA; brother, William (Peggy) Everett of Millerton, PA; along with 8 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. In earlier years, Janis was employed by St. Joseph?s Hospital. She loved antiques and attending flea markets and rummage sales. She had a special love for all animals, especially her cats. Family and friends are invited to call at the Olthof Funeral Home, Inc., 1050 Pennsylvania Ave., Elmira, NY on Friday, February 25, 2005 from 6 to 9 PM and on Saturday, February 26, 2005 from 10 to 11 AM. Funeral Services celebrating Janis?s life will be held there at the conclusion of the visitation. (11:00 AM)Lay Pastor Jennifer Wolf will officiate.
