Jean Plaisted

Age 76, of Elmira, NY, passed away on Saturday April 23, 2011 at Chemung County Nursing Facility. Jean was born on October 19, 1934 in Skegness, England.She is survived by her three daughters, Dawn (Joe) Weiskopff, Gail (Max) Vroman and Mary Potter; 8 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren. Jean was predeceased by her mother, Frances Mary Lea; husband, William Plaisted; also great grandchildren, Caleb and Connor Tuning.She was an avid Bingo player and loved spending time with her family.Family and friends are invited to call at Olthof Funeral Home, Inc. 1050 Pennsylvania Avenue, Elmira/Southport on Tuesday April 26, 2011 from 2:00 to 4:00 PM and 6:00 to 8:00 PM with Funeral and Committal Service there at 8:00 PM. The Reverend Edward Crandall and her son in-law, Reverend Max Vroman will officiate. Interment will be held at the convenience of the family.
