Jeanette C. Pint

Jeanette C. PintAge 84, passed away peacefully on Monday, April 13, 2009 at St. Joseph's Hospital. Jeanette was the daughter of the late Jack and Zeola Cecchini. She was born in Elmira, NY the 28th day of September 1924. Her loving husband, John J. Pint on May 11, 2004 predeceased her. Surviving are her beloved children, son, John Michael (Kathy) Pint of Pawley's Island, SC; daughter, Zeola (Ron) Bennett of Pine City, NY; son, Martin (Kimberly) Pint of Hatfield, PA; along with numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren. Other survivors include, sisters, Ann Garrison of Elmira, NY; Joyce (Robert) Codlarini of Hancock, NY; as well as many nieces and nephews. Jeanette will be best remembered for always willing to help and never being to busy to assist someone in need. She worked at B & C Photo, the Wells Township School District as a teacher's aid and volunteered with Southern Tier Hospice. She also owned and operated her own antique business in Pennsylvania and was an active crafter. Family and friends are invited to gather at the Olthof Funeral Home, Inc. 1050 Pennsylvania Ave. Elmira/Southport, NY on Friday, April 17, 2009 from 4:00 to 6 :00 PM. A Memorial Service to honor her life will follow the visitation. (6 PM) Deacon George Welch will celebrate Jeanette's service. She will be laid to rest in St. Peter & Paul's Cemetery with her beloved John privately at the convenience of her family. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be directed to St. Joseph's Hospital 555 East Market Street Elmira, NY 14901.
