Joan Marie Glover

Joan Marie Glover, age 74, of Elmira, NY passed away on Saturday, June 25, 2016 at Bethany Manor after her long battle with Alzheimer's disease. She was born on July 11, 1941 in Sayre, PA. The daughter of Madalyn Caslin and the late Andrew Marshall. She is survived by her loving husband, John H. Glover Sr.; son, John H. Glover Jr.; daughters, Joy (Ken) Murphy and Julie Glover; 16 grandchildren and great-grandchildren; two sisters and three brothers. Joan and her beloved husband and best friend, John, spent 61 happy years building their life together. Joan retired from Sears after 26 years of service. She enjoyed spending time with her children, grandchildren and dog, Candy. Donations may be made to the Alzheimer Association, 435 E. Henrietta Road, Rochester, NY 14620. Family and friends are invited to call on Wednesday, June 29, 2016 at the Olthof Funeral Home, Inc. 1050 Pennsylvania Ave., Elmira, NY from 5:00PM to 8:00PM. A mass celebrating Joan’s life will be held in the St. Peter and Paul’s Church, 560 St. Joseph's Blvd. on Thursday, June 30, 2016 at 10:00AM.
