Joann D. Caloroso

Joann D. Caloroso Age of 81, of Nichols, NY, passed away on Wednesday, March 24, 2021 at Elderwood in Waverly, NY. Joann was born on October 10, 1939 in Elmira, NY, the daughter of the late Russell Morris and Ida May (Harkness) Dunbar. Joann was a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution, member of the school board for Tioga Central Schools and Broome - Tioga BOCES. She was a retired Town Justice for the Town of Nichols and had an interior decorating business, Kaleidoscope Interiors. Joann was a proud mother and grandmother. She is survived by her sons, Kirk (June Langford) Caloroso of Rochester, NY, Michael Caloroso of Mansfield, PA; grandchildren, Bradley and Lindsey Caloroso; several nieces and nephews. Joann was predeceased by her husband, William E. Caloroso; brothers, Russell, Jr., Harold, and Francis. Friends are invited to call at the Olthof Funeral Home, 1050 Penna. Ave., Elmira on Monday, March 29, 2021 from 9:00 to 11:00 AM, with funeral and committal services there Monday at 11:00 AM. Pastor Mary Simonin officiating. Interment will be in Riverside Cemetery, Lounsberry, NY.
