Joanna M. Hostrander

Age 28, passed away peacefully on Thursday, March 14, 2013 after an extended illness. Jo grew up in the Elmira area and attended Southside High School. Jo enjoyed the simple pleasures in life; swimming, cookouts, country music, butterflies and Tinkerbell. Most of all Jo enjoyed being with her husband, daughters and extended family. Jo is survived by her loving husband, Bryon, "her girls", Serena, Naomi and Phoebe; brothers, Michael Hayes (MA) and Matthew Lawrence (Greenville), father, Walter (Tina) Hayes (Elmira), sisters-in-law, Mandy and Heather Hostrander (Elmira), mother-in-law, Beej Hostrander (Elmira), grandmother, Shirley Trim (Elmira), one niece and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Joanna joins her mother, Beverly Hayes (1999), adoptive mother, Marilyn Lawrence (2012) and daughter, Emma (2007) in God's strong arms along with other loved ones. Family and friends are invited to call at the Olthof Funeral Home, Inc. 1050 Pennsylvania Ave. Elmira/Southport, NY on Wednesday, March 20, 2013 from 2:00 to 4:00 PM. with her services to follow. Interment will takeplace on Thursday, March 21st at 2:00 PM in the Woodlawn Cemetery.
