Joe "Uncle Joe" Alfred Joiner, Age 61, passed away Saturday, July 29, 2017 at Guthrie Corning Hospital after a long battle with cancer. He is survived by long-time companion, Merry Rutter of Corning, NY; son, Joe Joiner of Newburgh, NY; daughter, Ashley Joiner of Rochester, NY; sister, Jeanne (Levi) Stanley of Wellsburg, NY; and was loved by many nieces, nephews and grandchildren. Joe was predeceased by his father, Joe Joiner of Macon, GA; and mother, Ruth Joiner of Newburgh, NY. A Celebration of Life will take place at 3:00PM on Saturday, August 12, 2017 at 2502 Ginnan Road, Corning, NY. Please bring lawn chairs. Joe's tribute wall may be signed at www.olthof.com.
