John L. Burnside of Morrowfield Ave Elmira passed away April 28,2023 at home. John was born in Penn Yan ,NY July 27,1937. The Son of the late Leonard & Helen (Crippen)Burnside. He is survived by daughters Linda (Jeff) Paugh & Debbie (Otto) Kuntz . Grandchildren David Tillotson of Watkins Glen NY , Lorraine Tillotson of Campbell NY ,Heather Anstee of Boynton Beach Fl,Rebecca Anstee of Royal Palm Beach Fl ,Laurie Anstee of Loxahatchee Fl. Great grand children Alexander Gibson, Kamryn Davis,Taylor Shipp,Brayden Shipp & Kylee Wynn. His devoted Caretaker Brooke ( Bonnie) Marvin Wright ,Jared ,Addie,Maggie,Stella & Zoe.
John always had a passion for dogs ,Olive Garden Lasagna a good sense of humor and Liked to make up rhyming songs. He liked to make wooden yard cutouts ,camping at the lake and loved country music. John retired from Facet Enterprise. There will be a small service at the cemetery in Penn Yan.
