John E. Mccallum

McCallum, John Earl Age 86 of Pine City, NY passed away peacefully at Elcor Nursing Home on Monday, October 20, 2014 after a short illness.Born on November 6, 1927 in Elmira, he was a long time resident of Southport, Army veteran and retiree of Bendix Corporation.He is survived by his wife of 65 years Marjorie McCallum, sons Gary (Kim) McCallum of Perth, Australia, Roger (Sheila) McCallum of Breesport, NY and two grandchildren Chelsea and Cameron McCallum.He was much loved and will be greatly missed.It was John's request that there be no calling hours and that he be cremated.It was also John's request that in lieu of flowers donations be made to the Wounded Warrior Project or any law enforcement agency of choice.Arrangements are being made by Olthof Funeral Home Inc.A private service will follow at a later date.
