John Albert Pierce

John A. Pierce Jr., 70, of Pine City, NY passed away at home on Monday, October 10, 2016. John was predeceased by his parents, John and Leatha Pierce; infant brother, Rex; and brother-in-law, Brian Learn. John is survived by his loving siblings, Maxine Learn and Kenneth (Becky) Pierce; nephews, Scott and Wade Learn, Greg and Bobby Pierce; several cousins and special friend, Larry Rhode. John was an Airforce veteran and a former member of the Golden Glow Fire Dept. He was a dedicated worker at Harding Brothers for over 40 years. He was also a former member of the Glen Region SCCA. John will be dearly missed by those closest to him. Calling hours will be held at the Olthof Funeral Home, Inc., 1050 Pennsylvania Ave., Elmira, NY on Saturday, October 15, 2016 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM, with funeral service following at 7:00 PM.
