Age 82 of Baty Street, passed away peacefully Tuesday, May 11, 2004 at St. Joseph?s Hospital. He was born January 1, 1922 in Elmira, the son of the late Leo and Erna Pint Sr. He was predeceased by his brothers, William Pint and Leo Pint, Jr. He is survived by his loving wife of 60 years, Jeanette; son and daughter-in-law, John Michael and Cathy Pint of SC; daughter and son-in-law, Zeola and Ronald Bennett of Pine City, NY; son, Martin Pint of Quakertown, PA; sister-in-laws, Joyce (Bob) Collarini of Hancock, NY; Ann Garrison and Betty Pint both of Elmira, NY; Pauline Pint of Breesport, NY; along with 8 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. John was the creator of the Senior Art Gallery at the Arnot Mall. He was a noted local artist winning many awards for his work. John was a Veteran of the US Navy, proudly serving his country from 1942 to 1945. He was a communicant of St. Mary?s Church. Family and friends are invited to call at the Olthof Funeral Home, Inc. 1050 Pennsylvania Ave. Elmira, NY on Friday, May 14, 2004 from 1 ? 3 and 6 ? 8 PM. Funeral services will be held at the conclusion of calling hours. (8:00 PM) Deacon Bob Stowell will celebrate his service.
