John "Rick" Richard Drozda

Age 62 was born in Corning, NY April 8, 1950 and passed away very unexpectedly on Saturday, May 26, 2012 at his home. He was preceded in death by his beloved parents, John Drozda and Janet (Force) Hemenway. He is survived by his loving siblings, Michael Drozda, Debbie (Roy) McKinney, Thomas Drozda, Gary Drozda and Terri Drozda; along with several nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews and numerous friends. Rick was a Veteran of the US Navy and received the National Defense Service Medal. He was a dedicated employee ofLiquid Control Systems retiring as a roofing specialist after many years of service. Family and friends are invited to gather for graveside services at the Woodlawn National Cemetery 1826 Davis Street Elmira, NY on Friday June 1, 2012 at 11:00 AM. His brother-in-law, Rev Roy McKinney will officiate. The Chemung County Veterans Honor Squadwill then accord Rick with Military Honors.
