Jonah H. Cole

OfHorseheads, NY, Formerly of Pine City, NYWent to join his loving wife Elizabeth on February 20, 2008 at St. Josephs Hospital. He is survived by daughter, Debra L.(Bernie) Cloos, of Horseheads, NY and children, Emily, and Jared. Son John S.(Amy) Cole of Indiana, and children, Michael, and Christopher. Several brothers and sisters from the North Carolina, area, also many nieces and nephews.Jonah was a lifetime member of Webb Mills Volunteer Fire Department, a member of the Masonic Order, and a U. S. Navy Seabees Veteran of WW II. He enjoyed the outdoors and tending to his vegetable garden. He was a loving husband father and grandfather; those who met him loved him and his infectious spirit will be missed. Family and friends are invited to call at Olthof Funeral Home, Inc. 1050 Pennsylvania Ave. Southport on Sunday February 24, 2008 from 2:00 to 4:00 PM. Interment will be in Woodlawn Cemetery, Elmira, NY at the convenience of the family.
