Joseph J. Lynch

Age 84, passed away peacefully at home on Sunday, February 14, 2010.Mr. Lynch, the son of the late Alphonse and Clara Lynch, was born in Northumberland County, PA on March 15, 1925. He is survived by his nephew Robert (Kathleen) Lynch of Yorktown Heights, NY; niece, Kathy Lynch, great nieces Amber and Sarah Pfeifer, great nephew Emmett Pfeifer all of Phoenix, AZ; sister-in law Lois Lynch of Elmira, NY.Besides his parents, Mr. Lynch was predeceased in death by a brother Robert I. Lynch.Mr. Lynch was a US Army veteran of WWII and worked as an automotive mechanic for Robert's Dodge. In keeping with his wishes there will be no calling hours and interment will take place privately at the convenience of his family. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Olthof Funeral Home, Inc. 1050 Pennsylvania Ave. Elmira/Southport, NY. The family wishes to extend a special thanks to the seven wonderful caregivers who gave so much of themselves in caring for Mr. Lynch in his final years.
