Loving husband, father and grandfatherAge 61 of Elmira, NY passed away on Friday January 18, 2008at home surrounded by his family. Artie is survived by his wife Aggie (Fusare) Nichols, whom with on February 3, 2008 he would have celebrated his 40th wedding anniversary.He is also survived by children; Joseph Arthur Jr. (Julie) Nichols, Shelly (Howard Sr.) Henry And Jen (John) Wandell, grandchildren; Kara and Howard Jr. Henry; John, Joshua, Jacob Jaki, and Jessica Wandell; Sammie, Megan and Katie Nichols, Mother & Father in-law; Frank and Mary Theresa Fusare, brother & sister in-law, Donne and Michele Nichols and their children; Scott (Theresa), Patrick, Robert, and Kimberly (Craig). Aunt Joanne Nichols, and uncle Bill Jones. His grandparents, Walter and Inez Nichols, parents Donald Hap and MaryLou Nichols, uncle, Harold Babe Nichols, aunt; Shirley Jones and grandmother Ruth Jones predeceased him. Artie served in the Army Reserves, and retired from the Town of Southport Highway Department. In his spare time he enjoyed hunting, fishing and loved to watch a good western movie, along with being an avid NASCAR fan.
