Of Kinner Hill Road, was born August 26, 1985 in Elmira, NY the beloved son of Kevin L. and Robin R. Palmer passed away on Saturday, May 29, 2010 the result of an accident at the age of 24. His paternal grandfather, Ralph Long, maternal grandfather, Sidney Palmer and aunt, Katherine Long predeceased him. Josh is survived by his fiancée, Sara Denierio of Elmira, NY, the mother of his child, Leigha Olivia due to be born in August; paternal grandmother, Barbara long and companion, John Durkin of Pine City, NY; maternal grandmother, Sharon Palmer (Joe) Zahorsky of Rotunda West, FL; loving parents, Kevin and Robin; beloved sister, Nikki Long of Pine City, NY; aunts, Debbie (Rocky) Criss of Pine City, NY; Marlene Hartigan stationed with the US Army in Hawaii; uncle, Eric (Robbin) Palmer of Lockwood, NY; close cousins, Ben Criss and Katie Criss (fiancée, Scott Webb); Bobby and Michael Hartigan; Kayla Sidney Palmer; last, but certainly not least, his best friend, Andrew Rohr (fiancée Lindsay) of Pine City, NY; canine companion, "Toby". Josh was a graduate of Southside High School class of 2003 and also graduated from the Sheet Metal Worker's Union Local # 112 in 2009. He loved anything and everything to do with the outdoors, especially hunting, fishing, four wheeling and absolutely loved his Jeep. Joshua loved life and lived it to the fullest. He worked hard, played hard and was extremely loyal to his family and friends. He will be deeply missed but never forgotten, especially his beautiful, contagious and infectious smile and his warm blue eyes. His family and friends will be gathering at the Olthof Funeral Home, Inc. 1050 Pennsylvania Ave. Elmira/Southport, NY on Thursday, June 3, 2010 from 4:00 to 7:00 PM. A Memorial Service honoring his life will be held there Friday, June 4, 2010 at 12:00 (noon). The Reverend Doctor William Lutz will celebrate Josh's service.
