Joyce A. Burczynski

Joyce A. Burczynski, 87, of Elmira, NY passed away on Thursday, June 8, 2017 surrounded by her loving family at her daughter’s home. Joyce is predeceased by her husband, Stanley Burczynski; and son, Donald Burczynski. Joyce is survived by her loving children, Dianna (Roger) Gibbs, Ronald (Joann) Burczynski, Beverly Lawson, Stanley (Katie) Burczynski Jr.; daughter-in-law, Tina Burczynski; 10 grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren. Joyce was an avid bridge player. She enjoyed hunting with her husband and sons. She volunteered at the Red Cross, the Arnot Hospital and St. Casimir’s Church for many years. Joyce was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend who will be dearly missed. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Children’s Miracle Network, AOMC, 600 Roe Ave., Elmira, NY 14905. Calling hours will be held on Tuesday, June 13, 2017 from 2 PM to 3 PM and from 6 PM to 7 PM with a memorial service to follow immediately at Olthof Funeral Home, Inc., 1050 Pennsylvania Avenue, Elmira, NY. Joyce will be laid to rest with her husband, Stanley Burczynski, Sr., in the Woodlawn National Cemetery at the convenience of the family.
