Joyce D. Sick

Age 73, went home to be with her Lord, on Monday, October 7, 2013. She resided in Wellsboro, PA, was born in Elmira, NY and was raised in Pine City, NY. She was the daughter of the late Robert and Donna (Kinner) Wheeler and was the wife of the late William Sick. Joyce was the mother of Sherri (Ed) Peckham, Rusty Lane, Frank Lane, Rob (Dinell) Lane and Brenda (Andy) Romig; along with numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and step-children, Alan and Kathleen. Her son, Leo Junior Lane and daughter, Rose M. Evans also predeceased her. Joyce was a Home Health Aid for Americare for numerous years, and was an avid sports fan. She loved her cat "Boots", who was her pride and joy. She also enjoyed spending time with her family and will be missed dearly. Family and close friends are invited to attend a Memorial Service on Tuesday, October 15, 2013 at 4:00 PM at the First Baptist Church of Horseheads, 2293 Grand Central Avenue, Horseheads, NY 14845.Reverend Rolland Romig will officiate. A private gathering for family and friends will be held at Brenda & Andy's immediately following her Memorial Service.
