Of Massillon, OH, formerly of Elmira, NY passed away on Wednesday January 23, 2008, in Pine City, NYShe was born June 2, 1925 in Moundsville, WV to Alfred and Hazel Perry. Predeceased by her husband, Bob Long, her parents, her brothers Philip and Charles Perry, and her great grandson, Christopher Shawn Wise. June is survived by her daughter Diana Lynn Dowell of Beaver, West Virginia, daughter and son-in-law, Suzanne and Ed Murphy of Pine City, New York, sons and daughters-in-law, Robert & Nanci Starcher of Maryville, Tennessee, James & Sue Starcher of North Las Vegas, Nevada, David & Jana Starcher of Berkey, Ohio. Stepchildren, Nancy & Steve Biffle of Columbus, Ohio and David Long of Lake Milton, Ohio; brother and sister in-law, Al & Nancy Perry of Doylestown, Ohio, sisters, Jerrie Whitehead of Doylestown, Ohio, andJudy Baughman of Clinton, Ohio, sisters and brothers-in-law, Pat & Vernon Thompson of Clinton, Ohio, Pauline & Frank Miller of Akron, Ohio, Alyce & Gary Slabaugh of Beverly Hills, Florida, and Susan & Bud Bender of Wooster, Ohio.18 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren, many nieces and nephews.June retired from the Hilliard Corporation, Elmira, New York.Family and friends are invited to call at Olthof Funeral Home, Inc. 1050 Pennsylvania Ave. Elmira, NY on Sunday January 27, 2008 from 2:00 to 4:00 PM with Funeral Service held Monday at 11:00 AM in Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, 314 W. Church St. Elmira, NY 14901. Those wishing may make memorials to Holy Trinity Lutheran Church or Southern Tier Hospice and Palliative Care in June's memory.
