Karen Ann Epler

Age 56, went to be with her God on Sunday, May 29, 2005. She was born July 1, 1948 in Fort Frances, Ontario, Canada. Karen was the youngest daughter of Philip and Rose Marie Bruyere.She is survived by her loving husband, Dennis of Elmira Heights, NY; sisters, Melvina and Eleanor of Fort Frances, Ontario, Canada; Phyllis of Phoenix, AZ; father-in-law, Kenneth Epler of Pine Valley, NY; mother-in-law, Ruth Johnson of Horseheads, NY; nieces, Carolyn (Wayne) Farber of Franklin, NJ and Terisha (Joshua) Miller of Elmira, NY; brother-in-law, David & Margaret of Tampa, FL; sister-in-law, Laurie & Norm of Horseheads, NY; along with several other nieces, nephews and many friends.Karen lived a full and happy life in various places from Phoenix, AZ to Germany. She always took on new challenges with vigor and determination.At her request there will be no prior calling hours. The Reverend Walter Wainwright will celebrate a Memorial Service honoring her life on Friday, June 3, 2005 at 11:00 AM in the Olthof Funeral Home, Inc., 1050 Pennsylvania Ave., Elmira, NY.In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be directed to the American Cancer Society, Southern Tier Hospice or Meals of Wheels.
