Hamilton, Kathleen Marie (Kathy) age 66 of Elmira, NY passed away Friday, June 1st, 2012. She was born in Elmira, March 7th, 1946 the daughter of the late Charles and Pauline (Pietro) Agan.Kathy is survived by her loving husband of 47 years Thomas Patrick Hamilton of Elmira; daughters and sons in law: Elizabeth Marie & Michael Thornton of Barrington, IL;Jacqueline Marie & Jeffrey Jacobus of Charleston, SC; grandchildren: Brendan Thomas Thornton, Alexander Chase, and Samantha Marie Jacobus; brother: Charles Agan of Horseheads, NY, sisters: Delores (Dee) & Ronald McLellan of Sarasota, FL, Elizabeth (Libby) & MichaelHorn of Potomac, MD; brother: Paul & CarolynAgan of Castile, NY; sister: Maureen & SteveKay of Gilbert, AZ; brother: Michael & Julie Agan of Prairieville, La.Along with several nieces and nephews. Kathy was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. She was a retired teacher’s aide for children with special needs in the Elmira City School District. She managed the Bargain Hut for many years. She was a communicant of St. Mary’s Church on the Southside. She was an avid reader, devoted New York Yankee fan and a member of the Elmira Country Club. Her greatest passion in life were her children, grandchildren, and her children at school. Family and friends are invited to attend a Memorial Mass of Christian Burial to be held at 1:00PM Wednesday June 6, 2012 at St. Mary’s Church, 224 Franklin Street, Elmira, NY.
