Kathleen A. Nichols

Age 92, of Elmira, NY, passed away on Thursday, October 27, 2005 at home.Kathleen is the beloved daughter ofthe late Clark & Jane Riley Tobey, born the 20th day of May 1913 in Caton, NY.She is survived by her husband of 72 years, Laurence; son, Calvin Nichols of Farmington, NY; daughter, Marlene (Fredrick) Nagle of Freedom, NY; granddaughter, Joanne (Eugene) Rutkofski of Morrisville, NC; sister-in-law, Jennie Anne Tobey of St. Louis, MO; nephews, Albro C. Tobey, Jr., Lee Gene Tobey; niece, Deborah Treadway; several great nieces and nephews.Kathleen is predeceased by her son, Dale Nichols on July 20, 1993; brother, Albro Tobey.She graduated from Southside High School Class of 1932 and worked at Eclipse Corp. as a drill press operator.Kathleen was a very active member of the Pennsylvania Avenue United Methodist Church, a member of the American Legion Ladies Auxillary ? Canandaigua Post #256, an AARP member and Gold Card Club member.She loved helping in her late son Dale?s green house, and also knitting and crocheting.Family and friends are invited to call at Olthof Funeral Home, Inc. 1050 Pennsylvania Ave., Elmira, NY on Sunday, October 30, 2005 from 2:00 to 3:00 PM with funeral and committal services there at 3:00 PM.The Rev.
